Covid Saftey Measures

Safety is of course our number one priority here at camp. We have put specific precautions in place to provide as much safety as possible during COVID-19.

Camp is located in a spacious backyard in Andersonville, which allows our students to be in open airflow at all times. Camp will remain completely outside, the only exception being restrooms. If a camper has to use the bathroom, we have full use of the downstairs bathroom in the home of one of our counselors, which we will sanitize before and after camp, as well as after each use during the day. That being said, we do ask the families to make sure your child uses the restroom before camp each day.

In addition to camp being outdoors, we have the privilege of being in a very large backyard. This will provide more than enough space to make sure each camper is 6 feet apart. If the campers are not 6 feet apart, they are required to wear a mask. Counselors will be wearing masks when closer than 6/8 feet away from any camper. If a child needs our help face to face, the counselors, as well as the camper, will be required to wear masks.

During snack time (snack is provided each day), we will have separate single serve packaging for our campers, with absolutely no food sharing whatsoever. Our daily agenda, and the activities we decide to include, are specifically designed around safety precautions and ensuring enough space between campers. Lastly, we ask parents to refrain from bringing your children if they show any symptom of sickness. We hope our camp can both provide a sense of normality for your children while still prioritizing safety.
